Supported platforms
MATCHA Writer is currently supported on macOS and Windows desktop computers. MATCHA has been tested and runs well on basic laptops that can be purchased for US$250 new, such as the Acer Aspire Lite 15.6.

- iOS, iPadOS, Android, and ChromeOS are not supported for MATCHA Writer.
- 32-bit Windows devices are not supported.
- Tablets and touch-only workflows are not supported for integrity-sensitive writing activities. Microsoft Surface laptops are supported when used as normal Windows laptops with keyboard and pointer input.
Browser-based services
MATCHA Dashboard, public documentation, and support pages are browser-based services. They can be used from modern desktop browsers, but they do not replace the supported MATCHA Writer desktop app for authoring, activity participation, single-app mode, work-history capture, or certified submissions.
